Hiro Odaira - Precious Pieces

Hiro Odaira, the creator of Washi Art: which is made from a premium sustainable harvested plant fiber, presents an ethereal beauty to any setting for your featured walls, screens, doors, tables, amongst others. His work is entirely handcraftedbased upon 500-year-old traditional techniques as preferred by the Emperors of Japan. However, his traditional methods of applying Washi is used as media.

The approach of the artwork is extremely unique due to its flexibility and ability to compromise with various types of surroundings and projects. Washi media consists of the clients outlook and input of color schemes, dimensions, textures, patterns and any other specifications. The artwork is all-natural with no added acids or chemicals, and produce no emissions. The pigment consists of natural dyes, stone, and/or tannin juice except on a few occasions metal powder.
